Occupation: She's made a living in the past doing various low level jobs. Her Human form tends to have a living that she can fall back on if her Witch falls through.

Appearance: She's 5'8" and lean, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She's very physically capable. She has dimples, with strong features.

Personality: Strong minded and willed, very independant when she's in her Animal forms, but she's far from confident in her human form. She's frightened and timid, and almost scared of other people. But able to pretend that it isn't the case if she takes on a role or character.

History: She comes from a family of familiars, who take pride in supporting the witching community. Although some have choosen to give it up and live life for themselves rather than their 'master' as the witches have allowed their powers to become dormant. At a very young age Syd was shown the family that her family often supported. She saw the young Julianna and immediately decided she would be the perfect first witch for her to support. She started her training, she learnt how to infiltrate her Human form into her witches life if she needs too. How to change to each animal form. How to act around magic and spells.
She studied each of her animal forms, learning how the animals acted, in both the wild and captivity.
When her parents decided she was ready she was allowed to leave and take her role. How ever she'd not forseen Julianna's allergy to Cats, so her first meeting went far from well. She was put off the idea. For a while she decided to try just being human. Living for herself. She got a job as a waitress at a local cafe. That also didn't go very well.
She started seeing a man, he seemed perfect for her, so she moved in with him. He was kind to her. Sexy and funny. Until he found out what she could do. He saw her as a filthy animal. But instead of just breaking up with her, he let her stay with him. She slipped into an abusive relationship, as she was unsure what else to do. She was too ashamed to tell her family she'd failed as a familiar so she put up with the abuse. Becoming more with drawn. More timid. Until one day he was too violent with her. Badly injured she slipped into a coma.
When she woke, she decided that maybe she should try being a familiar again. Surely it couldn't go so badly? She went to find Julianna to find she'd moved.
Begrudgingly she packed her very few belongings and moved to mysteria after her.

Flaws: Shifting between form takes time, much like a Werewolf.
She has limited forms. The Dog form is always the same Dog. The Cat always the same etc. So if she fails to slip into her witches life with each of those, it's not going to happen.
Once she's taken the role of familiar to the witch, being accepted. She's with the witch to either she's no longer needed or the witch dies.
She suffers from panic attacks, she's scared of men.
If in any animal form to long, sometimes she has difficulty shaking the animal habits.

Merits: She has more animal forms than most Familiars, having been able to master 6.
She's very confident as an animal. Although she tends to be agressive towards men.
She's generous.
She can speak with animals, and is fluent in French.
